A world divided between Porn Star life & Mainstream world

Porn stars, webcam models, exotic dancers, escorts and any sex worker in the adult industry face a common problem.  Between being a sex worker, balancing personal real life and your adult star persona, you already have a challenge on a daily basis.   But it doesn’t stop there.

Obviously I can’t do this forever, therefore I am working on more mainstream projects to transition into a life outside of porn when it’s time to officially walk away.  In the meantime however, the great divide remains as many of my projects started as adult entertainment adventures.  The branding, the following and the content are ADULT in nature.

Society judges, we shrug our shoulders and keep pushing.  But when you put your heart, soul, energy, money, time and resources into creating a project; the forces that be will either ban you from airing and advertising or force you to make a choice to conform to NSFW conditions.  A process that leaves you in a purgatory of choices.

Platinum Puzzy Radio is almost 10 years old, won an award, and is synonymous with uncensored, adult industry topics as well as a combination of real life issues and general hollywood gossip.  We cover it all on my radio show.  So as I set out to make it a household name, I am told that the NAME itself is more of an issue than the actual content.  PLATINUM PUZZY is offensive off the rip, and needs to be altered to accommodate mainstream promotions and airing.

So do I change it to Platinum P Radio?  I feel like I have to rename my kid or something.  Why can’t I just say PUZZY?  Isn’t it 2018 already?  Oh wait, we live in the time of activism where EVERYTHING is offensive, even an urban slang for our vagina.  Snoop Dogg can use it to commercialize the very offensive “N” word but I can’t to urbanize and SEO a vagina.

So I sit on the great debate, to P or not to P.
