The new millenial

There are many blogs and videos where the Kardashians are being attacked for what seems to be “glamorizing” pregnancy before marriage.  I, personally, disagree.  I think it’s time that we change the way we train our children to believe that the beliefs we have instilled and enforced for years is finally renewed with a more liberal system of living.
For centuries, it’s been unacceptable to do things “out of order” or against what has been documented as your future.  Many people believe that you go to school until you graduate, go to college, start a career, fall in love, get married, have children…. etc.  But that life is not for everyone.  As a matter of fact, some of the greatest success stories and most amazing people in the world have quite a different story to tell that doesn’t follow the “steps of life.”
For instance, these wealthy, famous and highly successful people didn’t finish high school yet grew up to be fully functional. successful members of society:
Richard Branson, Billionaire CEO of Virgin
David Karp, Multi-Millionaire founder of Tumblr
Award winning film makers Quentin Tarantino, Peter Jackson
Hollywood actors Robert De Niro, Catherine Zeta Jones, Uma Thurman
I am NOT glorifying dropping out of school, and not an advocate for rebelling against what could be a plan of success for you.  However, my point is that when you divert from the plan and LIFE happens, it doesn’t have to be the end of the world.
So what does that have to do with the Kardashians?
It’s a fact that every Kardashian that has given birth, has done so out of marriage which poses a major moral infraction for society.  Although Kim did eventually marry before her second child was born, the first was conceived and birthed out of wedlock.  As society would lead you to believe, if you have premarital sex and begin a family before marriage, your are committing a sin and increasing your chances of raising a child in a single parent healthy environment.  Obviously, through the reality tv stars multiple shows, that is not the case.
In fact, that’s my point exactly.  They have shown that it is being married or not married doesn’t damage the mental health of the child.  What happens when the marriage is abusive?  Is THAT a healthy environment for a child?  The fact of the matter is, even children raised in single parent homes have turned out just fine.

My advice?  Do what makes YOU happy.  Fuck everyone else.  Stop letting the world make you believe you are DAMAGED goods simply because you aren’t abiding by the predetermined expectations of others.   End of story.
